Fifty Foot Hose were essentially a studio band that only played a handful of gigs during their 18 months together. They set out to fuse avant-garde attitudes to just about every piece of noise-making electronic equipment they could get their hands on, including sirens, audio generators, oscillators and Theremins. They also had a major asset in the distinctive voice of Nancy Blossom
