Originally recorded in 1980, Erector was harsher and less 'industrial' sounding than the first two albums and arguably became the seminal influence, along with The 150 Murderous Passions LP, for the subsequent wave in the mid/late '80s of noise projects (in particular Japanese); also featured for the first time in vinyl format is the originally banned cover art by Steven Stapleton.
