Stefano PILIA
Stefano Pilia was born in Genoa in 1978. He lives and works in Bologna. An electro-acoustic composer and multi-instrumentalist who has realeased various recordings with both Italian and foreign labels, has toured Europe and the USA, collaborating with artists as well as musicians. He is one of the founder members of 3/4HadBeenEliminated, a synthethis between improvisation, eletro-acoustic composition and avant-rock sensibilties.ita
Stefano Pilia è nato a Genova nel 1978. Vive a Bologna dal 1995. Compositore elettroacustico e polistrumentista in ambito avant ha realizzato dischi per etichette italiane ed estere (Fringes,Last visible Dog, time-lag, Hapna, Bowindo,Sedimental, Soleilmoon), ottenendo ottimi riscontri di critica e pubblico. E' trai fondatori del gruppo 3/4HadBeenEliminated, sintesi ardita tra improvvisazione, composizione elettroacustica e sensibilità avant-rock. Ha collaborato e collabora con artisti e musicisti in Italia e all'estero (Andrea Belfi, Marina Rosenfeld, Wu Ming2, Valerio Tricoli, Claudio Rocchetti, BlackForest Black Sea, Cristina Carter, Giuseppe Ielasi, Renato Rinaldi, Dean Roberts, Metamkine, Manuel Mota, Medves, Mudboy, Urdog e diversi altri)
