Electroacoustic Music in Sweden (Swedish centre for sonic artists and electroacoustic music composers) thirty years celebration triple CD set. Including unreleased elsewhere tracks by legendary composers such as Ákos Rózmann, Lars-Gunnar Bodin, Åke Parmerud, Ricardo Mandolini, Ragnar Grippe and many more. As the history goes, in 1964 the board of the Swedish Radio decided to build Sweden’s first professional electronic music studio. This triple CD was released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the studio, with the aim to reflect the different temperaments of the composers working in the EMS studios throughout the years.
The history of EMS is also portrayed in two interesting essays, one of them by Knut Wiggen, creator of the studio and its first Director, and the other by another former Director and a pioneer of Swedish electro-acoustic music, Lars-Gunnar Bodin
