Exotic Ésotérique vol. 2 is the second chapter of our first release/compilation. Not much to say. The idea came almost as a programmatic manifesto and guideline for our label: with the first cassette we were trying to seek for and define our musical identity while getting to know new realities (both musicians and labels) to collaborate with. For this purpose we found interesting to combine the most different genres and bands to build up a sonorous wunderkammer, a musical cabinet of curiosities; something full of the rarest and under-the-radar tunes.

Just like EXOÉSOVOL.1, we gathered artists, bands and projects with which the label has, had and will have the honour to work with and that fully represent, if not the direction the label is following, the attitude we're promoting. The cassette brings together a huge plethora of different genres and influences: from fire music and free jazz to noise, sound collage, tropical wave, exotica, italian occult psychedelia, outernational music as well as drone, neofolk and vaporwave.

Differently from our last compilation we're proposing it in a form of a long mixtape divided in two sides: an Eksotik side A and an Esoterik side B. As a result we hope to blur the boundaries between “original” music and radical hybridization. No more tradition, no more gimmicks or hommages, just a funky family of colourful Out-Of-Place sonorities and a rainbow of moist exotic and tropical vibes from your favourite obscure sounds production corporation.
