'Carl Fredrik Reuterswrd is an artist known for his dadaistic works and Ulf Linde is not only an art professor, he was one of the leading Swedish jazzmen in the early 50s. Usually playing vibraharp. But together with Carl Fredrik on drums they played in small clubs for a while in the late 50s a kind of jazz that is free jazz before it was named that. It is an utterly rare example of free European jazz. Linde plays piano and Reuterswrd drums. The session took place in somebody«s home, the recording quality is not the best but good enough. When reediting this music Carl Fredrik together with artist Hjördis Tegsell made a very special cover. Two of Carl Fredrik«s close friends were Emmett Williams and Marcel Duchamp. He owns a lot of works given to him by Duchamp, among these the heart that covered Williams« book Sweethearts. Tegsell together with Reuterswrd made a paraphrase on this work for the cover. Thus dedicated to both Williams and Duchamp. The piece is just 3 minutes long, but indeed a historic as well as musical document.'
