On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of its first publication, the album L'Arca di Noé ("Noah's Ark") by Franco Battiato is back in stores in the LP + CD format (Bonus track by Voucher See you Danzare new mix 2015 + Live version at the Teatro Lirico in Milan 1988). For this anniversary, Francesco Messina, friend and graphic designer of Franco Battiato, dedicates a new cover and inserts unpublished photos inside the artwork, a real gem for this new deluxe edition.

 L'arca di Noé is a very particular album, a unicum, which deserves to be listened again and loved like his other works. Recorded after the unprecedented success of "La voce del maestro", L'Arca di Noé climbs to the top of the sales chart, and remains one of Battiato's best-selling records, especially thanks to the leading track Voglio Vederti Vederti Danzare.

This time the arrangement of the songs makes massive use of the Fairlight sampler and the rhythm section is the same as La voce del maestro, the guitars of Radius, the violin of Pio and the Madrigalisti choir of Milan. Years later, many are considering this chapter record as one of the artist's best.
The album is composed of songs with a polemical tone (La torre) and epic and mystical (L'esodo). The song that will remain most engraved in the Italian memory will be the splendid and evocative Scalo a Grado.
