Before recording there was very little pre-planning, the only decision was that they each play a few short passages. From September 1 to September 9, 2023, Li Song, Zhao Cong and Zhu Wenbo went on a South China tour together. They performed 8 shows in four cities, and almost every show was different. In two of these venues, they gave very unique trio performances. This album features these live recordings.
