Nurse With Wound or NWW is a British experimental music band, formed in 1978 by Steven Stapleton, John Fothergill and Heman Pathak. In 1979 Heman left the group, and in 1981 it effectly became a solo project of Steven Stapleton, with a variety of assisting musicians over the years.

'Creakiness and other misdemeanours collects the long out of print 'Creakiness' lp as well as various other very limited releases. 'Sand Tangled Women' was released as a limited edition 7' by Klanggalerie. 'Little Dipper Minus Two (Echo poeme sequence 1)' was a CDR limited to 200 copies. 'A Perfectly Natural Explanation' was released on a limited edition 7'. New artwork by Babs Santini.'

It has much in common with Krautrock (yes, again!), particularly the tape editing (Can, Faust), as well as the modulation and splice experiments of 20th century classical avant-guardists (Stockhausen, Henri, Cage etc.).
