Uneven Eleven
Uneven Eleven is an improvising trio of Charles Hayward on drums and voice, Kawabata Makoto on guitar and Guy Segers on bass. Each came from a long-running group. Hayward co-founded This Heat and played in Massacre with Fred Frith and Bill Laswell, Kawabata leads the Japanese psychedelic band Acid Mothers Temple, and Segers was a member of the Belgian chamber rock ensemble Univers Zero. The three toured Britain in May 2013, and two recordings from those dates have been released: the double CD Live at Cafe Oto on Sub Rosa and Live in Brighton, taped at Sticky Mike's Frog Bar and issued by Discus Music in 2025.
