2025 stock Divine Madness is a captivating archival release from the visionary Russian composer and pianist Sergey Kuryokhin, presented by Old Heaven Books. This collection spans four tapes, offering a rare glimpse into Kuryokhin’s experimental genius, where avant-garde jazz, improvisation, and electronic experimentation collide. Known for his fearless creativity and theatrical performances, Kuryokhin’s work here embodies the raw, unbridled energy of his artistry—sometimes chaotic, always mesmer…
Released in 1969, 'Hum Dono' is a legendary 'lost' British jazz plate, described by Trunk as the best modern British jazz LP of all time that will set you back a good £2000 second hand - if you're lucky enough to find a copy. Its beguiling mix of East meets West rhythms, ideas and joy pits Jamaican free jazz virtuoso Joe Harriott and Indian guitarist Amancio D'Silva against some of the UK jazz elite's most essential players. Blending library-style exotica with tabla rhythms, cascading vocals and…
Originally released in 1975, Action Printing by Teddy Lasry is a visionary blend of jazz-fusion, synthesizer-driven experimentation, and cinematic soundscapes. A former member of Magma, Lasry crafts a universe where audacious syncopated rhythms and futuristic melodies evoke both film music and avant-garde electronics. The album’s genuine synth and clavinet textures, percussive grooves, and hypnotic repetition create an atmosphere that is both immersive and distinctly forward-thinking.

2025 stock "The Box" is a collection of the earliest and perhaps most cherished recordings by UK producer Dennis Huddleston, better known as 36. Written between 2005 and 2012, it compiles the albums Hypersona (2009), Hollow (2010) and Lithea (2012) into a 6LP boxset, alongside a bonus LP of exclusive and unreleased tracks titled Orphans. Originally written as a triptych, The Box showcases an incredibly eclectic, deeply emotional range of tracks, bridged together by that optimistic melancholy, wh…
*2025 stock* Born in 1945, Guo Yongzhang has performed zhuizi, a traditional Chinese style of narrative singing, for half a century. An artform whose history spans over a century, zhuizi originated in Henan province. Its main musical instruments are the zhuihu, a two-stringed bowed lute, and the zhuibang, a wooden percussion played with foot tapping. Almost completely blind, Guo Yongzhang is known for his peculiar, resounding yet smooth vocal style. He sings with deep feelings and great verve. L…
2025 stock After his self imposed exile from the global world music niche, Mamer found his stage at Shenzhen’s two annual music festivals – Tomorrow Festival and OCT-LOFT Jazz Festival – curated by his loyal friend and supporter Tu Fei, who would always reserve at least one set for Mamer’s newest sonic experimentations. Mamer’s most recent album Faintish Radiation documents his full performances of solo improvisation at the seventh (2017) and eighth (2018) OCT-LOFT Jazz Festivals, in which he pe…

2025 stock In 2014, Tatsuya Yoshida participated in the first Tomorrow Music Festival, and his improvisation with Mamoru on the night of the performance was the first time the two musicians collided, and the improvisation, which lasted less than 30 minutes, brought the audience's perception of “improvisation” to a new level. The last two improvisations in Ruins Alone: Tomorrow's Ruins were recorded live at that time.
2025 stock Ben Bo Er Ba & Ba Bo Er Ben(BBB & BBB)is an ever-changing, fascinating duo. Quirky Pipa and spiritual flute are the backbone, the two artists also randomly utilize all kinds of instrument they like, wandering freely in the musical realm, breaking and reconstructing the atmosphere. Their music may be a spell, a password, or perhaps a tongue-twister: ben ben bo bo, bo ben, bo ben bo, ben ba, bo ba, bo ba... Feel free to carry on “ben bo”ing.
Tip! Dec. 2015: I received an invitation from Old Heaven to participate with FaUSt to the 3rd edition of “Tomorrow Festival” at B10 Live, Shenzhen, China! A few months later, May 2016, we were on our way to the most exciting concert experience. A loooong flight-haul and then, such a warm welcome, such a perfect organization… the most charming, dedicated, competent crew around us… the largest cement mixer I ever used on stage, and an audience so vibrant, so focused. I was and still am in memory, …
*2025 stock* These are live recordings of Nikhil Banerjee at KPFA Radio in Berkeley, California, on the 9th of July, 1967. It is for the first time they are made into vinyl record and published in China. The original recordings were on two reel-to-reel tapes. In 1988, American record label Raga Records released the recordings on both CD and cassette. Until a few years ago, it was by chance that producer Tu Fei got hold of these reel-to-reel tapes and decided to release this vinyl version, hoping…

2025 stock “Regarding the title of the album what I found by looking further is ‘Inside Out’. To explain in a few words from Hungarian: at the base, there is ‘itt’ = ‘here’, and ‘ott’ = ‘there’. From ‘itt’ derives ‘ide’ = ‘from there to here’, from ‘ott’ follows ‘oda’ = ‘from here to there’, so there is a dynamic in ‘ide’, which there is not in ‘itt’, which is stable. ‘Kint’ is ‘outside’. ‘Idekint' therefore means, that we are outside and we invite to be outside (while ‘Odakint’ would mean that …
Originally published by Tomlab in 2001, “Seleya” is the second full- length issued by Kristian Peters’ Novisad project. Twenty-four years after its initial release, the album’s thirteen loop-based arrangements continue to resonate with striking clarity. Keplar presents Seleya with a previously unreleased bonus track from 2004 and a fresh vinyl cut by Lupo.
These evocative miniatures feel haunted with the passage of time, bearing traces of the exploratory studio workflows, tactile imperfections, …
*350 copies limited release* Boris Gronemberger is everywhere, but nowhere as much as in V.O and River Into Lake. Insiders of the Belgian indie scene already took notice of his undeniable talent through his multiple musical adventures. With surprising ease, Boris manages to remind us of Brian Wilson, Gastr del Sol, Sonic Youth or Hood while injecting in his compositions enough personality to constantly surprise and even bedazzle the unexpecting listener. Folky moments are followed up by a noisie…
The Minute Hours | Les Heures Secondes is the sixth album of Belgian solo act Half Asleep. Recorded at home with friends, The Minute Hours | Les Heures Secondes took over a decade to bring to fruition. This is an ambitious album, more spacious and bold than its predecessors, often taking unexpected paths and detours. Built around Valérie’s guitar and piano, Half Asleep's crepuscular acoustic universe is however still very much and recognizably her own. It is here augmented by a textured cello, a…
A dismal moment, try not to think about it so many of us, so restless, a dull chapter worth skipping, mind numbing. Constantly talking, when all we really wanted to do was… As usual perhaps, daily impressions of unremitting danger make people seek refuge in futile obsessions with furniture, food and clothing. Endless words, irritating until we stopped saying them, then sorely missed. A conjunction of multiple evils that could have been avoided, had it only been seen as profitable to do so. Naggi…
In the proposed version, for vibraphone and tape, I attempted to enter Pietro Grossi’s sound spectrum of six Ostinati (OSTN) intended as moving soundscapes, maintaining the specific grain of each field as the centre of sound gravity. The vibraphone motor was conceived at different speeds for each field in the search for a vibrant and luminous sound, maintaining, within a sound unit of organic character, two dimensions: figure and background in the dialectic relationship of listening.
In the firs…
*30 copies limited edition* "The first time I heard about Takahiro Mukai was through the Err Rec label on which I had published 2 albums.I immediately liked his approach to sound, very pure and very close to the machine, to synthesizers. He seems to ignore the human by becoming one with the synthesis, his tracks do not have titles but numbers that are classified by their recording order. This may seem cold and soulless but it is in fact quite the opposite, because it is in symbiosis with his mac…
