Rex
*350 copies limited edition* Rex is a solo cello record written and recorded while I’ve been living in the former home of Rex Brasher, a self-taught painter who created over 1,200 watercolors of North American birds. Composed for acoustic and electric cello, the record reflects the solitude and intensity that shaped both Brasher’s vision and my own process. Rex is not a portrait, but an echo—of a person, a place, and a way of seeing the world. Thank you to Matthew, Munawar, Cynthia & the RBA for…
PRN2_M15t
NYZ (David Burraston) presents this collection of generative music pieces carefully extracted from a PreenFM2 gifted to him by Aphex Twin. PRN2_M15t is being released at the same time as an LP titledStria from Dr. John Chowning who invented the original FM synthesis algorithms which were sold to Yamaha and used in the creation of the DX series of keyboards. An interview with Chowning, conducted by David Burraston, will be published at the same time. David Burraston is an award winning artist/sci…
Oda
Vic Bang's "Oda" arrives quietly - it was waiting for the right moment. The eight tracks are shaped by listening, by circling around sound instead of chasing it... you can definitely hear patience in the pacing, a willingness to let ideas linger, to let all the small motifs breathe. The album moves with a softer and more deliberate rhythm than much of Vic's earlier work, as the sound world here feels concentrated and cohesive, built from a limited set of elements that gradually reveal themselves…
Tsuki?
Kin Gajo is a Brussels based electro-acoustic jazz trio drawing inspiration on the one hand from J Dilla and Flying Lotus, and on the other from the sound of British jazz artists such as The Comet Is Coming, Yusef Dayes, and Alfa Mist. With their atypical instrumentation-accordion, saxophone, and drums-the trio has developed a sound entirely of their own, with the accordion often resembling a heavy analog synthesizer. DJ and producer Lefto featured Kin Gajo on his compilation Lefto Presents Jazz…
Episodes
Sun Electric - the legendary Berlin duo of Tom Thiel and Max Loderbauer - returns with Episodes, an enticing new album. While the pair has been active and creating over the years (remember their track 'Every Now And Then' on the 10 Years De:tuned compilation in 2019), Episodes marks their first album of original material in nearly 20 years. Now, with a renewed way of working together, they present fresh and captivating music on the Belgian De:tuned label, built from recordings made with the vint…
Tone Keepers
How good does it feel to pull back from time to time? To really shed excess, more-ness, and follow a single path with intention? The exploration of one thing can illuminate corners of the world overlooked by minds pushed in increasingly omnidirectional cycles of want. Tone Keepers is a collection of four compositions by flutist, composer, and sound artist Rachel Beetz that follow a straight line into unexpected territory. Each piece revolves around a simple but inventive technique for generating…
Ready For Freddie
** Special Time-Limited Offer ** The Indianapolis-born trumpeter Freddie Hubbard introduced his prodigious talent on Blue Note Records with a run of remarkable albums recorded thru the early 1960s. At first rooted firmly in hard bop, Hubbard began to broaden his approach on his masterwork Ready for Freddie, recorded in August 1961. “The way in which I’m most interested in going is Coltrane-like,” Hubbard told liner note writer Nat Hentoff. Hubbard had recorded with Coltrane earlier in the year o…
Leviathan Whispers
On Leviathan Whispers, Tim Hill shapes saxophones, tape loops and treated field sound into slow-burning rites of longing and delirium, a spectral song-cycle where folk memory, Blakean vision and drone minimalism coil around each other in restless, darkly luminous orbit.
Hungry Vortex
With Hungry Vortex, Polypores pushes his kosmische synth language into a delirious hybrid of polyrhythmic trance, cosmic jazz-prog and gently lysergic minimalism, four side‑long excursions that feel at once meticulously engineered and wildly feral. A hypnotic, deeply emotional capstone to a ridiculously fertile phase.
Ritual Fever
There are moments of silent depth in which the winter of the scalpel of meaning and the spring of the sound-born, unleashed body look upon the world fully present.  When the notes at last are heard, the ordered world is their indistinguishable score.  The ritual of process is that which carries.  The process of ritual is that which brings moments both transitory and immortal, apprehended by musician, seer, clairvoyant, herald; the welling tones that emanate from the crystal salt of shattered pri…
Superdank
Lo Five is as proud as he is anxious to present SUPERDANK, a CD album packed to the green gills with heavy dubs for sleepy schlubs. SUPERDANK is ostensibly presented as a collection of hardware stoner jams, structured in the form of an hour long edible-induced psycho-narrative, taking the listener on an aural voyage - kicking off at pleasant buzztown, calling past existential paranoiaville, then landing back in the relative safety of sofaborough in time for tea and crumpets. But what is SUPERDAN…
Orchestral Works
2026 stock Bára Gísladóttir (b. 1989) considers sounds, instruments and ensembles as living organisms. In VAPE, Hringla and COR, the Icelandic composer and double bassist engages with the largest musical organism of all: the symphony orchestra. Through these works, we follow Gísladóttir’s fascination with language and coincidence, for example. Here is an uncompromising interrogation of the body, in its excesses and ailments. And here, most of all, is life, vaporous and between states, neith…
Ultimatum And Incitement
"The curtains are drawn back, the sheets are pulled up over your face, the tape is fizzing out - you hear a familiar voice, a beeping, a chirping, a long hallway voice of lights - damn, feels like a breeze over marble headstones and you recognize what felt so familiar… the bark of the birch tree looks exactly like your bedroom back home. black and white and falling apart. mlehst mastery of soul-fuckery with surrealist outcomes! the difficulty… no …. the ease."   “Ultimatum And Incitement” is a c…
Dancing Across The Scalpel's Steel
Archival recording from James Light and Ronald Elster (AGONAL LUST and DH). Produced in ronald elster’s living home under the duress and showings of ‘death file’, and ‘traces of death’. Alternate soundtrack to catskills mountain men classics.
We Have Come To Bring Rain
Tape. Digital download included.  The train starts towards blackpool. the enemy streets are full of revellers, and we know what they are celebrating. last night’s fiasco. now we can tell you the next day was the same, only worse, that they had caught on and they just had to face the truth, that a real rain would come, beyond belief, washing away an audience of no one. Storm electronics by Dave Padbury. Packaged in custom coffin clamshell case.
Cyan Music
Tip! ** Edition of 70 ** On Cyan Music, Atte Elias Kantonen sets out to answer a deceptively simple question: what happens when shimmer and sheen – qualities usually belonging to light – are reimagined as pure sound. Across eight pieces he uses radiant, meticulously sculpted synthesis to build a world where timbre behaves like reflective surfaces, refracting and scattering in ways that feel almost tangible. Rather than leaning on obvious ambient tropes, he treats each track as a small laboratory…
Einde Were
*100 copies limited edition* ‘Einde Were’ is the debut solo album by guitarist Nicolas Van Belle, recorded in late 2024 at Zinnema in Brussels. It will be released as KR007 on Klankhaven Records on vinyl, accompanied by a booklet of texts. At its core a mourning record, the central theme of this album is as old as time itself: the existential crisis that follows a breakup, loss, and/or farewell. Nicolas Van Belle transforms this universal aspect of life into a ten-part musical epitome, in which …
Strata
Music aged in time, resonating from the surface to the corethrough layers and sediments of stones — the strata. Four morning recording sessions with a separation between them of between three and ten months — a chronozone that will rest for a time and on which the next one will be added, thus forming the total of the six pieces of the album — becoming six strata. A slow-moving album that develops landscapes of subtle but continuous evolution, where we find layers of diverse nature created from d…

Proportioning of open units
Besides being a visual artist, Christoffer Kjærskov has quietly been making experimental music for the last 20 years. His works, always recorded to 4 track cassette, seem to carry a certain warmth flowing through the patiently unfolding loops and shimmering melodies this release is an assemblage of synthesizer, urban field recordings and even some synthetic flute solos peeping through the tape mist. A lovely unpretentious recording, I am very happy to present through afvikling .
