Tsunami Edizioni is glad to announce the release of "Nascosto Tra Le Rune" (Hidden Among The Runes), the official biography of the controversial and legendary British group DEATH IN JUNE.
The book has been written by long time music journalist and DIJ fan Aldo Chimenti with the help of Douglas P., and is a huge 420-pages-long effort which offers an in-depth analysis of themes, connections, historical and personal events related to the story and opus of DEATH IN JUNE (with three whole chapters devoted to the CRISIS era), interspersed by excerpts from a long interview that was conducted specifically for this book and spans the whole career of Douglas P. so far. The book is written in Italian, measures approx 19x26 cm (7.5x10 inches), is heavily illustrated throughout and includes also two full-colour photo sections of 16 pages each. The vast majority of the illustrations and photographs come straight from the personal archives of Douglas P. and features lots of never before seen pictures, making the book an interesting item even for those DIJ fans who do not read Italian.
Along with the book is included an Audio CD featuring a long radio interview in English with Douglas P., plus eight tracks culled from the DIJ canon and some jingles and Radio ID's and adverts used to promote DEATH IN JUNE performances – which have never been published on CD before. This Audio CD will be absolutely exclusive to the Italian edition of "Nascosto Tra Le Rune" and not available elsewhere. At present, no English or other foreign language editions of the book are planned. "Nascosto Tra Le Rune" is limited to a total print run of one thousand numbered copies.
