*2024 stock* Continues the NYC street performer's exploration of minimalist composition & field recording, mixing percussion & sparse melodies w/ piano solos, street sounds, & monologues. Surprisingly accessible despite it's avant-garde nature, bridging the gap between the familiar & the bizarre. Another all out masterwork from one of 20th century America's most unique minds.
When the quartet of Luke Martin, Gabriel Salomon, Klaus Janek and Andy Graydon gathered to record an afternoon of sessions in Andy's studio, it was both the result of years of cultivation and an afterthought. Klaus and Andy had been long-time, and now long-distance, collaborators since their shared years in Berlin. That city was also where Andy was introduced to Gabriel at one of his solo performances by their mutual friend, the painter Paul McDevitt. Years passed, and cities. After meeting and …
William Selman is an artist based in Portland, Oregon who has previously released work on Mysteries of the Deep, Hausu Mountain, Digitalis, and his own Critique of Everyday Life label (co-managed with Chris Miller aka Gunnar Haslam). This album is a response to a combination of influences including Selman's own film works, urban Portland and the wildernesses of the Pacific Northwest. Using collages of field recordings, synthesisers and acoustic instruments, this release may appeal to fans of Ber…
Mariano Melo, aka Marian Sarine, is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist based in São Paulo, specialising in percussion and drums. Known for his drumming with the band Deafkids and his solo work as Sarine, Mariano's latest album, “Asas Terenas,” features his first recordings under this name. The album began with organ themes recorded with Felipe Pato at the end of 2019, with additional instruments added throughout 2020 and 2021. As Sarine himself says, “Asas Terenas” is a sonic mixture that moves t…
"Due scritti imperfetti" contains three compositions meticulously put together by Giancarlo Toniutti, Deison and Massimo Toniutti. The location chosen for this collaboration was primarily the recording studio in Udine where, in a two-year timespan, the authors met to discuss, compose, record, trim, listening back, sifting out sounds and adapting their electro-acoustic mixtures. The music or rather 'musics' that emerged during this progress, represent different versions of ongoing experiments, a w…
*Dubbed on reused ferro tapes* Reveries; an apartment and it's lonesome inhabitant. Field recordings and reamps through lousy computer speakers. The livelyhood and sounds of tape running around different objects, chatting radios and the fiddeling of a diverse array of small talkative machines. All recordings were made within the same weekend, being alone in my apartment. Edited, cut apart and put back together.
*Dubbed on new ferro tapes* A collaboration between accordionist K. Vidar, recorded and edited by J. Folke with onset from Vidar's solo accordion concert in a water tower in Brønshøj. Recordings are made the day prior to the concert, and subsequent on the staircases of the conservatory on Rosenørns Alle. Edited and processed throughout the summer 2024.
A very beautiful drone album for 2 simultaneously played church organs by Ato Vari and Camille Helt Haarder aka Emilie Faber. Type 2 tape in double sided J card.

*200 copies limited edition* We’re delighted to announce the triumphant return of Steve Marreyt, aka Edgar Wappenhalter. Here he reverts to making gritty reverb-drenched folksongs. But the poetic and electronic elements from his previous album remain – they’re just incorporated in the songs this time. It makes ‘Ijsschots Veenlaag Mist’ probably Wappenhalter’s most balanced work thusfar. Songs like ‘Hallusineren’ or ‘Vogel rok diamant’ prove he’s one of the best intuitive songwriters around, wher…
*2024 stock. 250 copies limited edition* I recorded the album after a conversation with Caleb about doing an album for the label and talking through ideas of what it could look like - compared to my previous release, Heart Music (2022, Where to Now? Records), which was written and recorded over 1-1.5 yrs, Recall the Dream Breath was written and recorded within the span of 2 weeks in March 2021. Heart Music was written in quarantine more or less, so that album became very dense as I wasn't too co…
Big tip! Sarah Davachi returns with “Music for a Bellowing Room”, the first ever release of her audio / visual collaboration with the artists and filmmaker Dicky Bahto, originally commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Sprawling to an incredible three hours of sublime, minimalist drone - composed for tape loops, synth and delay - that draws the ear toward microscopic shifts and details, we've adored every second of this truly monumental work.

It’s with great pleasure to finally rel…
Tip! "It seems that this morning the moon has swapped its pale coldness for an acid yellow: the journey begins as the night draws to a close. Bodies writhe, given over to some mystical revelation: would have we forgotten that the day was going to rise? Chaos stands there in rare purity, like a farewell to all hesitation. Black celebration. After the introduction, the title track ‘les orvets’ sets the tone: powerful and synthetic waves, like a trip, the rhythm is tenuous and the sounds so thick …
