Ayman Fanous
Ayman Fanous is an Egyptian-born, New York-based guitarist and bouzouki player. On Mode's Negoum (mode 316) he plays nine duo improvisations with the cellist Frances-Marie Uitti, drawing on his knowledge of taksim, the melodic improvisation of Middle Eastern music.
