Emerging from the duo Paroxysm (Werner Dafeldecker & Roy Carroll), whose work has been developing since 2019. The group grew out of a 2025 Ireland tour with saxophonist John Butcher and was completed after a London concert and recording session with violinist Angharad Davies.
