Clock DVA

Country: United Kingdom

Clock DVA is an English group formed in Sheffield in 1978 by Adi Newton and Steven "Judd" Turner. The name comes from the Nadsat slang of A Clockwork Orange, where "dva" means two. Starting in the early industrial and post-punk scene, the group moved over the years toward EBM and electronic music, and Newton has led it through several line-ups and long breaks. Clock DVA released the cassette White Souls in Black Suits on Industrial Records in 1980 and Thirst on Fetish in 1981. That line-up split in 1981, and Turner died the same year.
