Eiko Ishibashi
Eiko Ishibashi is a Japanese composer and multi-instrumentalist who has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary experimental music. Her work spans film scores, solo albums and collaboration, drawing on jazz, pop, progressive rock, musique concrète and electronics, and shifting shape from one record to the next. International recognition came with her score for Ryusuke Hamaguchi's Oscar-winning Drive My Car and with albums such as The Dream My Bones Dream and For McCoy on Oren Ambarchi's Black Truffle label.
