Recorded in a neighbourhood church in the city of Ghent, Belgium. Penumbra is a fully improvised album. It was born from a personal urgency of searching for ways to keep creating sound in moments of uncertainty. It grew from a desire to move beyond the limit of a single instrument, to experiment with different materials, objects, and instruments.
