Motorpsycho

Motorpsycho is a Norwegian rock group from Trondheim, active since 1989 and built around bassist and singer Bent Sæther and guitarist and singer Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan. The band started in alternative metal and moved toward long-form psychedelic and progressive rock, open to jazz, post-rock, pop and country. The name comes from the Russ Meyer film Motorpsycho. Motorpsycho's double album Demon Box (1993) was followed by Timothy's Monster (1994) and Trust Us (1998), while Let Them Eat Cake (2000) took a smoother, jazz-tinged turn.
