Caveman is a document of Stamou's live practice: two complete extracts of solo improvised performances using his 'portable electroacoustic studio'. The setup combines acoustic instruments (prepared zither, reeds, recorders, objects) with handmade electronics, modular synthesis and live-processed feedback loops, producing long continuous pieces built on sustained tonal textures and free improvised solos.
