2011 release  ** "Live recordings from Syntjuntan’s first two years. Music especially composed for textile accessories. The music is tangled with lace and long stitches, embroidered with electronic sounds, square waves and curled noise. Syntjuntan is an ensemble of female composers, musicians and instrument builders. Our purpose is to meet women’s curiosity about technology and electronics, to encourage them to build instruments by themselves and otherwise facilitating their own experimentation. Syntjuntan wants to help women become more confident, so they can take the space they need to be able to implement their ideas, develop their music and meet the audience. In a Syntjunta you build your own synthesizer and overcome potential technology fears. You get too familiarize  yourself with experimental art music by listening to and talking about or maybe even by performing a new work to an audience. Syntjuntan was founded in 2009 and performs in different configurations and formats." Syntjuntan is Ann Rosen, Lise-Lotte Norelius and Ida Ludén but is sometimes in extended with invited artists, composers, musicians, etc."
