Rare private press Krautrock from Paul and Limpe Fuch's Anima Sound – featuring one long improvisational piece on each side – oddly haunting and strangely beautiful! Raw home made percussion, off kilter melodies and really effective vocals make this a genuinely fascinating set that's surprisingly effective. Made while the duo was touring Germany and performing on a wagon they used as a stage, pulled throughout the country by a tractor!

This rare 1978 album is a rather original example of experimental electro-acoustic progressive style, mainly based on synth effects and acoustic guitars and often reminding some of Battiato's early works. Despite the presence of five singers in the line-up, the vocal parts are short, spoken rather than sung. Debon
Phoenix Records reissues Brast Burn's Debon -- a classic of Japanese Kraut obscurity originally released in 1975 on Voice Records, now digitally-remastered. Brast Burn are often linked with Karuna Khayal, with many aficionados concluding that they were actually the same band. The Dawn Wind
Australian folkie Paul Adolphus created some magical music back in the mid-1970s: mostly acoustic, intimate songs with a bewitching psychedelic gloss. This excellent obscurity was recorded in Japan in '73, and although it was critically acclaimed, it was never widely distributed. The album, reissued intact in 2007, also features Mitsu Harada on organ and piano.
The Oimels
Originally released in 1969 on the famous German MPS label The Oimels presented Wolfgang Dauner & co. in a very different setting, namely as a psychedelic pop band. Full of surprises, this collection even included a version of The Beatles' 'A Day In The Life' alongside twisted pop, beat and ethnic music. Jola Rota
For this amazing reissue, the Tiliqua label puts on hold its obsession with vintage Japanese erotica and instead turns to the obscure psychedelics of Swedish artist Joakim Skogsberg. Dating back to 1972, Skogburg's long lost 'Jola Rota' LP originally only sold between 300 and 400 copies, and it's not terribly difficult to understand why.
