Contagious Orgasm
Contagious Orgasm is the Japanese noise project of Hiroshi Hashimoto, who began recording under the name in 1987. His work moves between abstract sound collage, dark ambient, industrial textures and rhythmic noise, often built from sampled and cut-up material, and the project has a strong reputation in Europe for its live performances. Hashimoto runs his own label, SSSM, which has issued much of his output on tape and CD, and he has also recorded for Ant-Zen, Old Europa Cafe and Tesco Organisation.
