Dominique Grimaud
Dominique Grimaud is a French multi-instrumentalist and writer, active in the French experimental underground since the 1970s. He was the one constant member of Camizole, an improvisation and happening group that some twenty musicians passed through, and he later formed the duo Vidéo-Aventures with Monique Alba. His recent work mixes electronics, altered guitars, loops and fragments of familiar pop tunes. Grimaud started in 1970 in Jacky Dupéty's improvisation group, which played as Camizole until it merged with Gilbert Artman's Lard Free in 1978.
