Glands of External Secretion

Glands of External Secretion is the duo of singer and guitarist Barbara Manning and Seymour Glass, the writer and editor of Bananafish magazine. The project started on 8 February 1992, when Manning asked Glass to help record a solo single for the Majora label. Their records are collages of songs, loops, voice samples, field recordings and cut-up noise, with the occasional cover version. Manning came from World of Pooh and SF Seals, while Glass is linked to the Butte County Free Music Society (BuFMS).
