Gregory Büttner
Gregory Büttner is a musician and sound artist based in Hamburg. Since 2000 he has concentrated on sound art and electroacoustic composition. In concert he plays electroacoustic material through small loudspeakers, placing resonating objects and everyday items on them to colour the sound. He also writes for dance, performance, radio, video and installations. Büttner plays in für diesen abend with Stefan Funck and Katrin Bethge, and he runs 1000füssler, a label for experimental music in small editions. He has worked with Birgit Ulher, Rhodri Davies and Chris Heenan.
