Günter Müller

Günter Müller is a percussionist and electronic musician, born in Munich in 1954 and based in Switzerland since 1966. He began as a jazz drummer and moved into free improvisation, rebuilding his drum kit in the early 1980s with custom pickups and microphones so that its sounds could be processed live. He founded the label For4Ears in 1990. Günter Müller later added minidiscs and then an iPod to his setup, and since around 2000 has often performed with electronics alone.
