Jason Kolàr

Jason Kolàr is a Barcelona-based electronic musician whose quiet, synthetic pieces draw on Japanese environmental music and on his own trips to Japan. His albums have appeared on the labels Dauw and STROOM, and he often works in duo with other musicians, among them Fumitake Tamura and Mike Cooper. Kolàr collected his work from 2017 to 2020 on Loops and Pieces for Dauw, which also released Liquid Rhythm in 2022, with double bass by Joan Serinyà on two tracks.
