Mark Templeton

Mark Templeton is a Canadian experimental electronic artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. He builds collage-like pieces from acoustic instruments, found sounds and samples, breaking down the traditional voices of instruments into glitchy, layered textures. Mark Templeton's debut album Standing on a Hummingbird (2007) was the first release on the New York label Anticipate Recordings, which also issued Inland and the CD/DVD Acre Loss with filmmaker aAron Munson in 2009. He later recorded for Staalplaat, Under the Spire, Graphical, Senufo Editions and Faitiche, where Two Verses appeared in 2024.
