Maurizio Bianchi

Bianchi began to produce music in 1979, since 1980 using electronic equipment with the avowed goal "to produce technological sounds and in such a way to work on complete realising of the modern decadence". In the beginning, he published tapes under the alias Sacher-Pelz. Until 1984, Bianchi published on other labels intensively as either MB or simply Maurizio Bianchi, sometimes several albums and/or tapes per year, as well as numerous tracks to compilations. Bianchi became religious and withdrew himself from the music business. Much of his work is sought today by collectors, especially as they appeared in extremely small editions

Tutti Quanti Sognano Porno (Compiuti I Dieci Anni)
2018 release ** "Le Cose Bianche is the power-electronics project founded by Giovanni Mori in 2007 dedicated, in the best tradition of early industrial, to abrasive and dissonant sounds. The themes addressed by Le Cose Bianche are scabrous and often speak of pornography, which is given a very decadent and nihilistic interpretation in which the impulses of eros and thanathos coexist in a sort of “vision” not so distant from that of the Marquis De Sade. L.C.B.’s discography is endless and also inc…
Regel
Oblio, a brand new imprint dedicated to reissues from the moodier spectrum of Italian experimental music, launches into action with the first ever fully remastered vinyl reissue of Maurizio Bianchi's 1982 private press masterstroke “Regel”. A seminal cornerstone of early '80s Italian experimentalism, Industrial music, and noise - long hunted by collectors - that is regarded as one of Bianchi's most definitive works - bristling various sound sources, electronics, and synths - more than 40 years o…
Endometrio / Endometrio De-Composto
*2022 stock* "Towards the end of 1982, I was living a moment of creative stagnation, and for avoid the risk of repeating myself with sterile modular secrations, I had an arterial idea: filering ancient recordings of mine through the aid of an Aiwa mucus echo machine , and so I set to process the sounds, transforming them into something completely new, so I coined the term “bionic music”, composed by concrete sounds recycled with electronic spraying… And as main theme I used the medical syncretis…
S.F.A.G. / S.F.A.G. De-Composed
*2022 stock* "Ante-facts : after the disintegrative period of my production (from “Symphony for a Genocide” to “Das Testament”), the purchase of a misanthropic echo-machine and the consequent decay of the electric-analogue machinery, my efforts was redirected to a pre-recording sound sublimation, so I started to re-compose the electronic metastasis of early times, filtering through dehumanizing effects of the echo-machine, keeping attention particularly to the explanatory process of my ancestral…

Material Modulations
"Second and final collaborative work by MB [Maurizio Bianchi] & MO [Mauthausen Orchestra], recorded before the premature departure of Pierpalo Zoppo the man behind Maurhausen Orchestra (R.I.P.).In the modulatory system, sounds are extracted from a basic materialistic sound and then overlaid with the use of random techniques that conceal the rumoristic load-bearing tones. The result is these "Material Modulations", which represent the primary device to receive physical and emotional response for …
Spiritual Noises
Historical collaboration between two of the fathers of Italian (and not only Italian) Old-School Industrial, Maurizio Bianchi and Mauthausen Orchestra."Creating noise is determined by the presence of an original particle to which randomly apply an alteration to convey a voltage-activated disturbing that determinates the electrophonic perturbation. As a result we obtain the spiritual noisesMO_disturbo" Sounds by M.B.: ancient loops, modern metals and futuristic waves and M.O. :synthesizer, loops,…
Vir-Uz
2012 release ** The legendary M.B. / Maurizio Bianchi and the vulcanic Andrea Ics Ferraris team up for a special collaboration titled Vir-Uz. Their symbiosis has generated deep and intimate tracks around the biblical figure of Job, as you can read inside CD’s notes: “A salutary protagonist existed in proved real life with his disorientating trials at the lewd hands of Satan, his captious discussion with false friends on the origin and nature of his terrifying accidents, and finally a wise respon…
Apokalypsis XXIII
2011 release ** "In August 2010, Maurizio Bianchi officially announced his retirement from musical scene. "Apokalypsis XXIII" is his last ever electronic music album, recorded in Summer of 2010. All the latest albums appeared after that are in fact re-issues of older works or the collaborations with other artists using his sound sources. Like other solo albums of Maurizio Bianchi, "Apokalypsis XXIII" has religious roots and consists of four long tracks, each of those divided into further section…
KRMN
Working with the same source material, sound artists Maurizio Bianchi & Francisco Lopez create individual works produced from the impartial de-oxidation of sonorous carbon-containing modular compounds. "'KRMN-FL' and 'KRMN-MB' were both created with the same original source materials, jointly created by Maurizio Bianchi and Francisco Lopez.""Produced from the partial oxidation of carbon-containing compounds, carbon monoxide is a highly toxic gas and has no odor or color. It is the most common ty…
Genologic Technocide
2006 release ** "Aided by musician M.D.T. (aka the Museum of Torture), this time leaving Maurizio Bianchi concessions acoustic Antarctic Mosaic and MI Nheem Alysm (where an upright piano hammers for 10 minutes a tether claustrophobic) to resume the speech sound historical works as Symphony For A Genocide (grazed in the title) and Regel. If the departure (Departure) aligns with the hordes of former electronics student Merzbow, in pieces like Return or Arrival distortion is channeled into a world …
Electrostatic Deflection
2007 release ** "Electrostatic Deflection" is a new industrial-music masterwork, created through collaboration with Maurizio Bianchi, and Israeli musician Maor Appelbaum. It's represents Bianchi's more extreme direction... a sample of whats comming in the future from the historic Italian composer. Amazing impact, immense slabs of industrial sound in motion. Sweeping vistas of intense static energy, storm-fronts moving across the stereo field, an acoustic tidal wave approaching landfall, breathta…
Elisionem
2006 release ** "'The 'elision' in the traditional music is a coercive and systematic dispositive necessary to assimilate two syllabic notes in one only. The 'elisionem', in the avant-gardist branch, is a sound absorbent course used amalgamate various sonorous elements into one. The main purpose is to generate an eclectic and axiomatic damping of the electroacoustic particles in order to proportion the achromatic fulfilment of modern concretism. And the final effect is phonographically disarming…
Cycles
2004 release ** Edition of 200 copies. "Cyclic composition with electronic elements fertilized during the 6027 A.M."
Dates
Ees'T records is happy to announce a further step into the Maurizio Bianchi new production, a new compact disc which completes the Trilogy starting with the previous Colori and First Day-Last Day. This time the author concentrates on Time, or the inevitable. A sound counterpointistic journey beginning with the creation of the first human being, in autumn 4026 B.C.E. and passing through the two big planetary cataclysms. Then the individual experience of MB himself is investigated, a sort of elect…
First Day Last Day
Conceived in the same direction of the previous CD titled Colori, this new work found its bases in the revaluation of the events the started the Creation, when an intelligent and complex act of sublime love started our physical universe off, transposing them in form of 8 electronic compositions elaborated in a 2 year work. A darker atmosphere marks the background sounds giving to the whole program a more obscure and less 'easy' impression while the more melodic traces fluctuate without direction…
Mutation For A Continuity
Very few are aware of the beginning of Maurizio Bianchi's adventures? Before starting the complex and compelling production of many records and tapes in the early eighties under the M.B. trademark, Maurizio Bianchi was documenting the new music scene writing essays and reviews for independent magazines. It was August 1979 in Milan, Italy and his sound was strengthening when he felt the time had come to prove his desire for something new. So he started his first solo project, under the name Sache…
The Plain Truth
2014 repress, originally released in 2000. First issued on the Broken Flag label in the UK in an edition of 500 in 1983. A different style, providing some distance from all his previous works; a more expansive experimentation with multiple layers of synthesizer sounds. Still very intense. M.B.'s recordings come closest to classical electronics, but always with a very personal style. This CD edition also features an interview on Radio Popolare in Milan from 1/1/83. An English translation i…
Endometrio
2014 repress. Originally issued as a private LP edition of 400 copies in 1983. De-composition for synthetic sounds and electronically generated noises. Here M.B. distanced himself from the movement of the industrial Bruitists, introducing his "bionic music." Notwithstanding the difficulty of listening, especially upon initial impact, you are facing treated and filtered synthetic sounds that become new organisms -- sound cells analyzed under the microscope. This CD also includes excerpts …
Carcinosi
"Originally issued as a private LP in an edition of 400 copies in 1983. MB de-composition for bionic organisms and concrete sounds. A sound that refuses both the cold logic of the fetish electronic computer-man-of-the-year and the sterile exasperation of the negative. A sound that dilutes and coagulates, eluding the listeners with minimal variations that make the cyclic style of Phillip Glass resemble a carousel of colors. This CD also features two untitled tracks first issued on compilation cas…
