Organic Pulse Ensemble

Organic Pulse Ensemble is the solo spiritual jazz project of Swedish multi-instrumentalist Gustav Horneij. He plays and overdubs almost every part himself (flutes, saxophone, piano, bass, drums, harp and percussion), so a single musician sounds like a small band. Organic Pulse Ensemble has released records on labels such as Urban Waves, Ultraääni and RR Gems. Zither Suite, which Horneij calls the fifth album of the project, came out on Ultraääni in 2024 and was recorded in his apartment in Kortedala, on the edge of Gothenburg.
