"In my artistic work I mainly confront science's form and content. In doing so, I use artistic and scientific methods to deal with a theme in a complex way. The play with fact and fiction constitutes an essential element in this. I thus founded the Institut für Wissenschaft und Forschung (Institute for Science and Research) in 1999, where a series of fictional scientists are employed.
