Small Cruel Party

Small Cruel Party is the project of Key Ransone, a sound artist from Seattle. His work avoids conventional instruments and favours sound sources whose origin is hard to place, built from physical objects handled in an acoustic space. Much of it has appeared in limited editions on small independent labels. In 1994 Small Cruel Party released In Thicket on Sounds For Consciousness Rape. In 2012 Harbinger Sound published An Accident in Substance, a set of three CDs.
