Vilhelm Bromander

Vilhelm Bromander is a Swedish double bassist, composer and improviser based in Stockholm. He works in the city's free jazz and experimental scenes, in solo double bass, small groups and a large ensemble. He is best known for In This Forever Unfolding Moment, a large ensemble recording that won the Gyllene skivan award for the best Swedish jazz release of 2023. Bromander released his solo debut Oh Lord Give Me Strange on Creative Sources. He has played in Jonas Kullhammar's quartet The New Kids On The Rock and in The Ägg.
