Rebetika
Andy Moor (guitar) and Yannis Kyriakides (computer) lovingly deconstruct and reassemble their favourite rebetika music in a set of 9 pieces that encompass a wide scope of musical vision. This is an unusual and original take on the so called "blues" music of the Greek diaspora of the early 20th century. Originally recorded and released as an exclusive download for Seven Things, this live set recorded in Glasgow's CCA in 2006 is a re-release on CD with two additional tracks. Rebetika derives its n…
Folia
Folia is the third CD collaboration of Andy Moor (guitar) and Yannis Kyriakides (computer) created in 2009 and performed in numerous festivals and concerts that year. It is an epic reworking of the famous tune from the 16th and 17th centuries called "La Folia". Fusing influences from this and South American folk music, they create a unique sound world of slowly evolving soundscapes, fluctuating beats, and rich oscillating harmonies.
Everything But The Beginning
'The first release from Andy Moor and Colin McLean since they disbanded Dog Faced Hermans 13 years ago. A collection of live recordings of improvisations over a period of three years in collaboration with several dancers that took place in Amsterdam at OT 301. Andy's unmistakable guitar blended with live sampling and electronics from Colin, creating a dark filmic atmosphere.'
Antichamber
RESTOCKED "This 2-CD set collects ten pieces by Yannis Kyriakides composed between the late-1990s and the present, spanning some thirteen years of work. It offers a view of a world that is rich both musically and conceptually. These compositions are small-scale in terms of the number of performers required, but large and imposing in sonority, idea, and emotional intensity. For want of a better term we could call them chamber music: the chamber music of a new century." (Bob Gilmore)BlowUP r…

red v green
Hailing from opposite ends of the experimental music spectrum Andy Moor and yannis kyriakides  have been making music together for over 5 years. The album is an exciting blend of the visceral and the refined, the raw and the spontaneous that marks the opening chapter of a blossoming collaborative partnership.4 page digipak with a 36-page booklet of Andy Moor's photography.
Wordless

Wordless was originally commissioned by the ARGOS Festival, Brussels, Belgium held in October 2004

Hhhh
Cor Fuhler has brought together a quartet of unique and unconventional improvisers that explore worlds of complex sonic textures with ensemble playing of the highest order. The sound world that is conjured on this CD owes as much to electronic music as to the free improvised music styles from which the musicians hail from, and although three of the four instruments are purely acoustic, it is the aesthetics of electronic music which have had a clear influence on their sound. Textures reminiscent …

13 friendly numbers
John Butcher appeared on six records, beginning with the 1984 LP 'Fonetiks, before he first released 'Thirteen Friendly Numbers' on his own Acta label in 1992. But the disc is still something of a debut; it is the first document of his peculiar language for solo saxophone, which he had fashioned by purging his vocabulary of the instrument's familiar sounds and jazz-associated gestures, and filling the space with carefully selected sounds located at the periphery of instrumental control. Butcher'…
Untitled #164

Locks
Thermal is a set of improvisations by Andy Moor, John Butcher and Thomas Lehn. Taking the sonic possibilities of their respective instruments (electric guitar, saxophones and EMS synth) through surprising and playful avenues, this is an exquisite example of the meeting of three experienced improvisers, each bringing to this exchange the perspective of their mixed musical backrounds.Andy Moor is known for his long time association with the EX , Kletka Red, and Dog Faced Hermans, he has a original…
