Portuguese Man-Of-War
2026 stock, reduced price ** Original Single Sided, Numbered **  The name comes from the French for "noise world" - Monde Bruits, the project of Shohei Iwasaki (岩崎昇平, 1962-2005), a figure whose significance to the entire architecture of Japanese noise exceeds what the relatively small scale of his recorded output might suggest. It was Iwasaki who organized Masami Akita's first Merzbow concert in Osaka - a founding act of the network that would, over the following years, connect Japanese noise to…
Flamenco Party
2026 stock, reduced price ** Original Single Sided, Numbered **  The name means "mercury lamp" - 水銀ランプ - and the industrial implications are entirely intentional. Suigin-Lamp was a trio: Kumiko Yamamoto on bass and sampler, Kazuhide Kawata on guitar, vocals, and sampler, and Kosei Yatani on violin and guitar. Flamenco Party, their only recording, was captured live at Shinjuku Ongakukan in April 1991 and released on Vanilla Records the same year - six tracks on a single-sided C62 cassette, number…
Shocks! Shocks! Shocks!
2026 stock, reduced price ** Comes in a snapcase with a numbered cassette has no label and a numbered j-card with different address stamp from 1st press. **  The most radical formal gesture in Shocks! Shocks! Shocks! is not any single noise burst or sample collision but the refusal - sustained across the entire cassette - to settle into a genre. Violent Onsen Geisha is Masaya Nakahara, a Tokyo-born artist who has described himself as someone with no musical talent, and who produced, precisely be…
A Small Life and Unnoticed Movements
"A Small Life and Unnoticed Movements" was born from a live performance at Germi in Milan, later transformed in the studio through Fender Rhodes and subtle ambient processing. The six pieces are sonic micro-landscapes built around minimal gestures — a leaf’s trace, a small current, a dim light, an almost invisible presence. The music doesn’t describe nature; it follows its processes. It changes slowly, transforms without noise, and remains in a state of attentive listening. The project is accomp…

Putimt Ku Tuskaas
The album explores the historical and practical union of experimental in-situ field recordings and industrial drone work in its rudimentary form, while also constructing a narrative of live, on-site cymbal play in the style of Eddie Prevost and David Jackman.  Putimt ku tuskaas draws a narrative of minimally intricate experimental field recordings and industrial drones while at the same time channeling a line of influence from the early 80’s French & Italian industrial movements and would not be…
12.16
Tori says "12:16 is a piece where I  recorded all the sounds of my daily life from waking up in the morning to going to bed at night on December 16, 2025, compressed that recording into an approximately 15-minute track, added my piano and other materials (such as Lee Morgan's riff, the line " Wandering around the mountains is painful" from the Noh chant "Yamanba," and Kazuo Funaki's 1969 song "Yūbae no Futari"), played it at the live venue, and performed along with it. The PC operation at the ve…
Salix
*100 copies limited edition* Salix is a bold new departure for modular synthesist Loula Yorke, seen here using an antique reed organ to explore the ancient roots of willow trees in magic, myth and medicine, as well as inviting another musician into her recording studio for the first time, clarinettist Charlotte Jolly. The EP forms a sonic archive of a singular instrument: an antique free reed organ left behind by a previous encumbent of Asylum Studios, (the artists' co-operative in Suffolk where…

Detriti
*60 copies limited edition* SabaSaba return with ‘Detriti’, a companion piece to 2024’s dystopian ‘Unknown City’. The duo of Andrea Marini (synth, guitar, electronics, tapes) and Gabriele Maggiorotto (drums, percussion, effects, programming) are joined by collaborator Ambra Chiara Michelangeli on viola. The mysterious Torino ensemble trades in much of their digital sheen for a rollicking half-pensive, half-dream suspended soundtrack. An organic looseness permeates the short tracks creating ferti…
Live at Cafe Oto
Stripped down to minimal instrumentation and raw nerve, Steven Warwick's first release since 2019's 'MOI' captures something singular in his approach.
Adjustable Phase
Adjustable Face, the newly formed duo of Milan-based musicians Marco Paltrinieri (Canti Magnetici, Granny Records) and Matteo Pennesi (Babau, Artetetra, {scope}), explores the intersection of glitch, ambient, and computer music through different composition and production strategies. Their debut album "Adjustable Phase", soon-to-be-released via Kohlhaas, was built through a process of editing, reassembling, and refining extended improvisation sessions recorded throughout 2024. Primarily based on…
Buxtehude
*70 copies limited edition* Niagara return to Discrepant with Buxtehude, a new work bending the legacy of Dietrich Buxtehude into their own fractured, electro-organic language. Rather than a tribute, Buxtehude feels like an abstract dialogue with the Baroque composer’s sense of structure and flow—reimagined through Niagara’s raw synth work, off-grid rhythms and subtly warped melodic cycles. The trio let the music grow from the inside out. There’s a clarity to Buxtehude that feels carved rather t…
Pungnyu
Tip! ‘Pungnyu’ is originally a tour album created for the first overseas tour of the band Woo-ryeok and the Pung-gak changi. In response to public requests citing that there are no officially available albums other than the music released on Bandcamp, the idea arose to produce a tour tape, which became the starting point for ‘Pungnyu.’ The recording was carried out in one take at 'Under,' a studio and workspace of Choi Tae-hyun, who is a member of the Kwang program and also a musician. Parts of …
Consume Budots
DJ Backstage has returned with a new album titled Consume Budots. If the initial output, New Metal Music Machine, showcased an interest in nu-metal, this time he shifts his focus to Budots, an electronic dance music and dance culture that originated in Davao, Philippines, known worldwide through DJ Love. Simply put, Budots is a blend of ultra-high elasticity 140 BPM pop edits, high-pitched siren sounds, and some Filipino rap. This music possesses an intensely stimulating energy that can be dange…
Microscript
