Live
2026 Record Store Day Reprise of the 1968 album 'live' by the 13th Floor Elevators. Panned at the time for being billed as "live" when in fact it was a compilation of previosuly recorded studio masters, outtakes and alternate mixes. The "very loud" crowd noise was overdubbed and was actually taken from a boxing match and wholly inappropriate for the purpose. Now, almost 60 years on, the album masters are available, in their original sequence, without the crowd noise, to be enjoyed in their full …

Stories From Another Time 1982-1988
Originally released by Time Capsule in 2021 and long out of print, Stories From Another Time 1982-1988 returns in an upgraded edition following years of demand and rising collector prices on the secondhand market. Widely regarded as a modern cult classic, Mário Rui Silva's visionary recordings blend acoustic folk, cinematic soul, spiritual jazz and saudade-filled Lusophone rhythm into a deeply timeless and universal work that transcends genre and geography. This new edition features half-speed m…
Live at Pe:rsona
From the edges of a hallucinatory torpor, Rue des Garderies continue their explorations in psychedelia — Femacosmé presents here a new piece recorded live at the Pe:rsona festival, at Domaine des Éveils in the summer of 2025. An adventure guided by blur, the intangible, the impermanent, where layers, voices, sounds, and organic and synthetic echoes resonate, emerge, then fade away — as if to deceive reality, or at least our perception of it. More than two semi-improvised hours in which Rue des G…
La Luce dell'Alba
La Luce dell’Alba is the new LP by Jolly Mare, conceived as an imaginary meeting with Piero Umiliani (on the centenary of his birth) and made possible by access to the original multitrack tapes provided by the Maestro’s family. Recorded between the legendary Sound Workshop in Rome and Oister Studio in Milan, the album weaves rearrangements and new overdubs, creating a suggestive dialogue between past and present. An ambitious, visionary project that renews Umiliani’s sonic legacy through Jolly M…

Sama'a - Audition
Known for their exhilarating live-to-record albums such as last year's critically acclaimed Wood Blues and Giant Beauty, سماع [Sama'a] (Audition) is the first of two releases that will surface after [Ahmed]’s first studio recording sessions at North London’s The Fish Factory in early 2025. Since 2014, [Ahmed] أحمد have excavated and re-imagined the music of Ahmed Abdul-Malik, in an ever ongoing search for future music. Over a decade on, the group were given the opportunity to set up in the studi…
Uchuu
On Uchuu, Oowets drifts into their most abstract work yet, blending tapped cloth boxes, reed organ warmth and bedside field recordings into a gentle, cosmic meditation where minimal rhythms and environmental sounds merge science and nature into a single, weightless drift.
Obscure Residue
On Obscure Residue, Dimples - the bicoastal duo of Greg Hartunian and Colby Nathan - sharpen fifteen years of friendship into bittersweet, uptempo pop where orchestral arrangements lift codeine‑dream melodies while lyrics circle time, scars and the quiet truth that some currents just turn you around.
Love is Overtaking Me
On May 21, on what would have been Arthur Russell’s 75th birthday, Audika Records presents a remastered/redux double vinyl rerelease of the much-beloved compilation Love Is Overtaking Me of Arthur’s folk, pop, and country songs including “Planted a Thought”, “Close My Eyes”, and “I Couldn’t Say It To Your Face”.
As I Slip into the Sky
As I Slip Into the Sky reflects a particularly small sliver of time compared to Where the Smoke Goes, with recordings taking place in early 2025, while Johnny Coley was bed-bound in an assisted living facility with multiple sclerosis. Alabama born, Portland based artist Joel Nelson helms the nearly entirely electronic backdrop, posing a new canvas for Johnny, with Buchla music easel bubbling up between Johnny’s lines. This album captures Johnny in a remarkably tender and emotive form. Love and a…
Where the Smoke Goes
We are honored to present the final two LPs from the late Birmingham, AL-based queer poet and artist Johnny Coley, who passed away in 2025 at the age of 76. Tender, lucid, and slippery poems unspool in Johnny’s signature drawl, charting oblique journeys through the sidereal and mundane. He composes painterly landscapes of his beloved Alabama and imagines waking up in the crowded streets of London. This is Southern Surreal story-telling where each new word opens a door to the familiar unexpected.…
Birds Measuring Space
During a 2016 trip to Colombia, I was very fortunate to be welcomed by the staff of the Rio Claro Natural Reserve, located in the central Cordillera. After several days of recording in the caves—the ones open to the public—inhabited by small colonies of cave-dwelling Guacharos (Steatornis caripensis), Juan Guillermo Garcés, director and founder of the Rio Claro sanctuary, allowed me to access a secret location outside of the reserve, home to what ornithologists reckon is one of the largest known…

Music for Ancient Catacombs
*150 copies limited edition* Across centuries, catacombs have exerted a powerful fascination on the human imagination. These underground networks, carved beneath cities and landscapes, have served as places of burial, devotion, secrecy, and contemplation. Their presence continues to resonate strongly today, inspiring artists, writers, and musicians who perceive them as symbolic spaces where history, spirituality, and the passage of time converge. The silence of stone corridors, the weight of cen…
Seven Sonnets
Originally brought together in September 2015 to perform the Zorn Bagatelles, Julian Lage and Gyan Riley have become two of Zorn’s most trusted and soulful musical collaborators, having recorded over a dozen CDs of his compositions for acoustic guitars both in duo and in trio with Bill Frisell. Seven Sonnets is their sixth CD together as a duo and the music is a lovely series of compositions referencing early music, minimalism, contemporary classical, soundtracks, folk, jazz, and more. Two of th…
Sunday Mass: Text Scores 2019-2024 (Book)
This collection of text scores is a survey and a re-formatting of my work in prose and text scoring between 2019 and 2024. While not comprehensive, several of these pieces are from my Grid Series and a few have never been presented publicly or privately. In most cases, my commitment to harmony and a specific harmonic grammar meant that these scores were presented with attached pitch material. However, the text always came first and, in this volume, these works present themselves as poems, elegie…

Corn Alone
This is my ode to corn in 3 parts, all featuring corn as corn himself. There are 6 pieces composed for 7 handmade instruments, made entirely out of different parts of corn, with some thread and wood glue as well. There is a cornfield recording, taken on a day they were harvesting just under a mile or so away. And there is a musique concrete type of piece featuring field recordings and the instruments. This album was made during my residency at Art Farm in Marquette, Nebraska, surrounded by infin…
