*50 copies limited edition* Muddy drums & noisy basses are the main focus of the project, surrounded by field-recording manipulations & a lot of warm texture. The project features a sample by Mikko Tarmia, the creator of SOMA / Penumbra / Amnesia OST, used w/ permission on the 2nd song & a piano recording by waller on the 6th song
"xato‘s latest release emphasises a focus on experimental manipulation and muddy abstraction. The evo-natura founder folds transportive, ritualistic drones into manipulated samples of field recordings, creating something that sounds familiar while evoking fear of the unknown." - If-Only
