Teo Usuelli scored Marco Ferreri's early films (L'ape regina, La donna scimmia, Dillinger è morto) and had a parallel life as a library composer, and Caratteristici vari ("Various Characteristics") on Fonit is a grab-bag in the genre's own terminology: characteristic pieces for every mood a broadcaster might need, from the comic to the sinister, written by a man who could do both with a straight face.
Usuelli's library work is less known than his Ferreri scores and deserves the attention; the wit is the same. Original Fonit pressing, UST series.
