Irma Krook, a sound artist based in Gothenburg, made her debut with "Military Arms." Primarily recognized as the bassist and original member of the death pop avant-garde group Makthaverskan, Krook has created four tracks of sublime beauty within the privacy of her own residence. Since creativity is sometimes the result of limitations, recording from a Masthugget apartment further reduces the choices. By using her phone to record her voice and an iPad to create all of the instrumentals in GarageBand, Krook has managed to create a huge sound using modest tools.
