Full length collaboration from Duane Pitre & Eleh. Pitreleh use high resolution analog and digital tools to create music utilizing natural vibrations and harmonics as rhythm and melody. Inspiration is drawn directly from vibrational waves (sound, gravity, water). The electronics, of which both pieces are constructed, are tuned using pure intonation which utilizes the prime numbers: 1-3-5-7. "This LP featured drone music based upon one fundamental drone that changes shape in vibration, as pure intonation, based upon the prime numbers: 1-3-5-7 for the occurring changes, while using a core of vibrational waves (sound, gravity, water), (that is recorded with high-resolution analogue and digital tools). The effect is that of a natural deep tone that slowly changes its pitches and that is slowly carried away like a slow wave entity in space. Despite it’s relative simple formula, this moving sound cloud of side A sounds like a pretty essential recording as if one captured here a natural environment from a different layer of reality of life, like let’s say coming from a sonic perspective that is more common further more away as a distance in the cosmos, amongst the stars, as vibrations of information that is communicated towards a further distant planet perhaps. The second track, side B, starts like a more simplistic and more clearly machine-based and machine-performed, so like a more technical drone with its changing form and variations. The surprise is gone a bit, and the simplicity is a bit higher, but still, after a while, when a few extra overtone pitches are added, this makes it also more interesting and more full. I think that on good equipment both tracks surely will sound like a vivid experience, which could make surrounding tools and spaces come to live. This last track still shows a convincing ending when it slowed down some of the vibrations until a rhythmic pulse occurred, while the rest of drones echoed away or slowly carried on. The album is released as an art edition of 300, available exclusively in a 5 color, screen printed jacket." (psychemusic.org)
