Recorded over the course of a single day, direct to analogue tape, Plug Music Ramoon brings together multi-instrumental free-rockers Neil Campbell, John-Clyde Evans and Stewart Keith for a new limited edition LP. 'Flamingo Moon' kicks us off with a terrific dirge hinged together by rhythmic synth patterns, providing an exoskeleton of modulated filter patterns. It's not long before the 'anything goes' factor of 'Punk Rocker / Mug Cracker' takes over, hammering out some long-form, bad-trip psychedelia in an almighty improv mish-mash. All very different again, flip over and 'Don't Stomp On The Silverfish' weighs in with a kind of garage rock gamelan feel, only for 'Ramoon Ramoon' to reinstate a trance-like far-outness...(Boomkat)
