Courlis Cendré / Pluvier Doré
* Deadstock copy.  Limited quantities! * We discovered JC Roché with his album Birds of Venezuela. We called him one day and he invited Dizonord team in his home in the countryside of France, where we had an amazing time and where he made us discover so many things. To name a few he worked with Pierre Henry, François Truffaut and was also sampled by Björk
Gnosis
Originally released as a cassette in 1994 by Drahtfunk Products, Gnosis shows Mayuko Hino, Ryuichi Nagakubo, Fumio Kosakai, Hiroshi Hasegawa, weaving a tapestry of strange exotic vistas and harsh chafing textures, exploring sonic depths and caverns not heard before or after. A standout and much sought after gem in the C.C.C.C. discography. Remastered by Hiroshi Hasegawa in April 2021, and finally available in a generous edition on digipak CD.
The Cock
Frigidaire Tango's The Cock was released in 1982 on Young Records. At that point their earlier primitive punk influence had merged with different influences, namely krautrock and glam, as well as a hint of prog rock, which resulted in a brand new sound, very personal and sought-after even in the new wave era. In September 2010, The Cock was listed by the french magazine Tsugi as one of the most underrated 100 records in the history of contemporary rock.
Caught In Flux
Inspired by a weird mixture between Aldous Huxley's visionary work and some biblical myths, Eyeless in Gaza, (formed in 1980) are one of the most original and creative bands emerging from the early 80's British post-punk scene. An intimate duo line up featuring Martyn Bates - vocals, guitar, organ, and Peter Becker - drums, bass, synth. "Caught in Flux" originally released in 1981 on Cherry Red and reissued here in its original format LP + 12" is their second album. The result of a one-take stud…
Fear And Pleasure - Retrospective 1980-1989
Interesting, lesser-known Italian band Eazycon are quite rightly compiled for Fear And Pleasure - Retrospective 1980-1989. Delighted and surprised to see that a version of Art Ensemble of Chicago’s ‘Noonah’ is here alongside Eazycon’s sometimes art-rocky, sometimes sitar-tinged sound. Variety is always welcome.
Baciamibartali and Winter Light
** 2021 Stock ** First reissue of Baciamibartali and Winter Light (1982), an essential document of Italian post-punk split between Tarcisio Lancioni's twin projects Baciamibartali and Winter Light. Includes CD containing the album plus Baciamibartali's 1984 three-song EP The Mournful Gloom. "The magic touch of this unforgettable icon of romantic and decadent post-punk music is back to pluck strings in the depths of our souls, a jubilation of the most powerful vibrational dynamics, melodic/chroma…
Oceans
** 2021 Stock ** Formed in Sheffield in 1978 and originally known as just "The", Artery is a band that saw several changes in the line-up throughout the '80s. Supported by John Peel and often compared to Joy Division their music incorporates various fundamental elements of the British post-punk aesthetic. Originally released in 1982 on Red Flame records, "Oceans" was Artery's debut mini-LP including some absolute gems such as "into the Garden" and "Afterwards" infectious anthemic tracks of the p…
One last Interview
Tip! ** Edition of 100, bilingual (German / English). Signed and numbered. Interview with Wolfgang Müller with original recordings from Die Tödliche Doris** On August 27, 2018, Wolfgang Müller arranged to meet his longtime friend Tabea Blumenschein for an interview at her apartment in Allee der Kosmonauten. He had noted personal and artistic station of her life. At that time, he had no idea that it would be the last interview with Tabea. This interview, actually more of a personal conversation …
Chinese Restaurant
Spittle Records presents a reissue of Chinese Restaurant by Italian new wave duo Chrisma, originally released in 1977. The album was recorded between London and Milano during the second half of 1977, and the results were something like post-punk. More in the direction of bands such as Ultravox, The Stranglers, and Suicide than the Sex Pistols and the Ramones, due to the use of electronic keyboards, obsessive rhythms, tense harmonies, and scratching vocals emerging from generally dark sound …
Hibernation
In the Italian panorama of the '70s, Chrisma (Christina Moser and Maurizio Arcieri) skirted the common rules of Italian pop (the aura of progressive rock or the first wave of prolific folk singers); in fact, they created Italian new wave from scratch. After the release of their 1977 debut album Chinese Restaurant (SPITTLE 051LP) -- so far from the punk revolution and so deep into the algid dynamics of the Mittel-European sound -- came Hibernation, their creative peak on which they embrace t…
Nuuk
** 2021 Reissue ** Thomas Köner is one of the most influential modernist minimal composers. Alongside Wolfgang Voigt’s “Gas” project, Köner has been centrally responsible for electronic music’s fascination with depth and reduction. His signature sound is vast, seemingly endless, which at first seems homogenous and infinite, but once exposed to it, when our senses calibrate to the fine nuances of changes, we discover and immerse into abundance of textures, richness of modulations and almost infin…
Biokinetics - 25th Anniversary
** 2021 Reissue **Techno isn't a genre that has birthed many classic albums, and the dub techno subgenre even less so, but one indisputable classic is Porter Ricks' debut Biokinetics. Originally issued on the legendary Basic Channel sub-label Chain Reaction in 1996 following a trio of 12"s, Biokinetics was the first of the label's album releases, and still stands as its crowning achievement. The duo was made up of dark ambient pioneer Thomas Köner and sound engineer Andy Mellwig, and between the…

Antiphonals
Canadian-in-LA electroacoustic composer Sarah Davachi has rediscovered her muse since releasing work on her own label, Late Music. Having explored hitherto unheard realms of enchanting melodic organ and electronics drones on her 2020 album Cactus, Descant, Antiphonals further explores these ideas using a sound palette of Mellotron, electric organ, piano, and synthesizer.  Referring to church music sung or recited alternately by two groups in its title — Antiphonal is a studied solo affair in whi…
Voce a Vento
Tip! Voce a vento represents the result of a choral, visual and performative intervention realized by Claudia Losi in the Cilento countryside in Southern Italy in 2018. Commissioned by Jazzi association, Losi chose a collective direction in which choral and polyphonic singing played a central role and developed with a collective and inclusive direction. For a few days, some thirty women from both the Emilia and Cilento regions have used their voices to dwell on the tracks of Monte Bulgheria in t…
