Ain Soph

Ain Soph is a group from Rome that came out of the city's industrial underground in the early 1980s. Its early tapes were industrial ambient pieces made for esoteric rituals, and its work draws on magic, Kabbalah and other esoteric traditions. The group later turned toward song, first with sacral hymns and then with folk and psychedelic rock. Its first LP, Kshatriya (1988), joins ritual noise to neoclassical arrangements.
