Bloto

Błoto is a Polish quartet formed in summer 2018 as an offshoot of the Wrocław jazz group EABS. The band plays improvised jazz built on heavy, hip-hop derived grooves, synthesizer textures and free-leaning saxophone, and is known for recording quickly and spontaneously, with several albums released in close succession. Błoto came together during a day off on an EABS tour, when four of the musicians recorded without preparation in a studio. The line-up is Marek Pędziwiatr (keyboards, synths), Olaf Węgier (saxophones), Paweł Stachowiak (bass) and Marcin Rak (drums).
