Boyd Rice

Boyd Rice (born 1956) is an American musician, artist and writer, best known for the noise and experimental recordings he has made since the mid-1970s, alone and as NON. NON began as a duo with Robert Turman, and most of its records were released by Mute. Rice's early releases include The Black Album, the Pagan Muzak 7" and Physical Evidence (1982). NON albums such as Blood and Flame (1987), In the Shadow of the Sword (1992), Might! (1995) and Children of the Black Sun (2002) followed.
