Brume
Brume is the project of Christian Renou, a French composer working with musique concrète and tape montage. His pieces are built from rapid cuts, scrapes and recorded sounds rather than steady rhythm. He has released cassettes and CDs on labels around the world, and many of his records have appeared on the French label Rotorelief. Renou released an hour-long tape montage on Intransitive Records of Cambridge, Massachusetts, following the albums Normal and Drafts Of Collisions. He also recorded Brainstorming with the group Bastard Noise.
