Chick Corea
Chick Corea (1941-2021) was an American jazz pianist, keyboardist and composer, born in Chelsea, Massachusetts. He played in Miles Davis's band in the late 1960s, then moved between free improvisation, acoustic duos, solo piano and electric fusion. He is best known for Return to Forever, the group named after its 1972 album, and for his duets with vibraphonist Gary Burton on ECM. Corea joined Davis in 1968 and is heard on In a Silent Way and Bitches Brew.
