Else Marie Pade

Danish electronic composer (1924-2016).  Participated in the Danish resistance movement during World War Two, and was interned by Gestapo in the Frøslev Camp, Denmark. Studied piano at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Worked in the studios at DR - The Danish Broadcasting Corporation, where she produced very early groundbreaking electronic and concrete compositions. Pade wasn\'t released nor recognized as a pioneer in her field until younger generations of electronic musicians discovered her early work around the change of the millenium.
